That fancy desk in the middle of your room . . . it’s cool. But, that computer that sits on the desk requires at least one cord (maybe more). Do you have a power outlet under the desk, or will that cord run across the floor from the nearest wall? If so, will it be covered with a cable runner?

Over the years, we have seen many broken displays (GPU, LCD, or glass) and, while terrible for our clients, some have nonetheless been quite beautiful or, at least, interesting. You be the judge:

An open drink—a coffee mug, paper cup, or that giant tub of soda—sitting on your desk, is an accident waiting to happen. We have a rule in the office to not have open containers around our work benches because we have had enough enjoyment cleaning up spills in client machines and don’t need to add ours to the mix.
