Everyone knows that when you need directions, you ask Siri. Need to find a particular kind of food nearby, ask Siri. Need a chuckle, start a knock-knock joke with Siri.
An open drink—a coffee mug, paper cup, or that giant tub of soda—sitting on your desk, is an accident waiting to happen. We have a rule in the office to not have open containers around our work benches because we have had enough enjoyment cleaning up spills in client machines and don’t need to add ours to the mix.
After a long day at the computer some of you may have a nagging pain in your wrist. Partially this is as a result of the repetitive motion from using the mouse all day. Mild occurrences can be alleviated by taking regular SCHEDULED breaks away from your desk. Doing so is also good for other parts of your body such as your back, and for your overall health. Sometimes, however, breaks are simply not enough and the pain does not go away or even becomes worse.
